Soup for Lent
One of our favorite Lenten traditions is our Lenten Soup Suppers. On Wednesdays in Lent we have often gathered for a simple supper of soup and salad. While we aren’t able to gather together for our Lenten meal this year, we can still recreate the tradition within our own homes! For years our soup has been prepared by Carl D and Carl F, and we’ve gotten them to do what they’ve never done before—open their secret recipe boxes and share them publicly! Every Thursday we’ll share a soup recipe from one of the Carls, which should give you time to make sure your pantry is stocked, so you can prepare the soup for the next Wednesday. You can even bring your soup to our Wednesdays Together in Lent zoom call and show off your handiwork!
