Thanksgiving at HSLC

Thanksgiving Baskets

As part of our church tradition, our congregation collects food and money every Thanksgiving for families in need. As a change this year, we are donating to two local social organizations that need our help: grocery gift cards will be donated to Attain Housing AND food items will be donated to Hopelink’s food bank. This change allows us to reach more families with items they choose and need, based on their own traditions.

Please help by donating the food items listed below and cash towards the purchase of perishable items and gift cards. Place food items in the designated boxes in the Fellowship Hall by noon November 19. The congregation is divided alphabetically by last name and we ask that you donate accordingly. Volunteers are needed to help transport all food items on Monday, November 20, to Hopelink. Thank you for help, support, and prayers in this gift to the community. Contact the church office if you can help.
