You’ll find that Lutheran worship is often very similar to Catholic mass. The Lutheran church is part of the “liturgical tradition.”

Spirit Ringers

Holy Spirit’s dedicated group of adult and senior high youth handbell musicians, the Spirit Ringers, play on five octaves of Schumlerich handbells and three octaves of Malmark handchimes. With rehearsals on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 in the sanctuary, the Spirit Ringers offer music in worship about once a month.  Music selections include original compositions for bells as well as hymns, songs, and a wide variety of music arranged for handbells. Contact director John if you are interested in ringing!

Joyful Ringers

Children in grades 3 through 6 are invited to participate in Holy Spirit’s 3-octave beginning bell and chime choir for kids, led by Malia Johnson. Fundamentals of music notation and bell ringing are taught, and the group performs several times a year in worship and at other special congregational events. The group rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 5:40 to 6:30 pm in the sanctuary. Visit the Children's Music page to learn more about Joyful Ringers.
