Catch the Excitement!

Sunday School meets from mid-September through the first week in May. Please join us for worship during the summer months. Children are welcome to attend worship with their family.

During the school year, elementary students have the option of choosing between 2 different approaches.

9:30 am Sunday School for Kindergarten through 5th Grade (Story & Stations Model)

Students hear and experience the Word of God in a story and station-based program that explores the Old Testament and New Testament stories while following the seasons of the Christian church year. During the hour, children participate in story, crafts, service, interactive play, music and games!

This program needs  adults to serve as station team members, shepherds and helpers. Parents with children enrolled in this session are encouraged to volunteer. Sunday School service gives an opportunity for parents to fulfill their baptismal promise to provide for the Christian education of their child as well as to grow together in faith with their child. Parents are encouraged to volunteer.

To register your child or children, please complete the Children & Family Registration form and return it to church.

To volunteer, please complete the volunteer form and return it to church.

9:30 am Time for Tweens (6th grade)

Students in 6th grade will have the opportunity to explore their faith in a variety of ways. They will use Bible study, discussion, listen to guest speakers, attend worship on a regular basis, participate in service events, and build relationships with their peers.

To register your child or children, please complete the Children & Family Registration form and return it to church.

11:00 am Sunday School for Kindergarten through 5th Grade (Classroom Model)

Students learn about God’s love in a more traditional classroom-based Sunday School setting. Students study God’s Word through lessons and projects based on Old and New Testament readings. They also participate in discussions, craft projects, service work, games, and other activities to reinforce the lessons.

Parents are strongly encouraged to volunteer three times during the year to ensure our classroom style is fully staffed each week.  Sunday School service gives an opportunity for parents to fulfill their baptismal promise to provide for the Christian education of their child as well as to grow together in faith with their child.

To register your child or children, please complete the Children & Family Registration form and return it to church.

To volunteer, please complete the volunteer form and return it to church.
